Following a leaked slide from an employee training course at the Goodyear Topeka plant went viral, revealing a discriminatory policy that allows Black Lives Matter and LGBT shirts and apparel but not Blue Lives Matter or All Lives Matter, the Daily Wire reported that the corporate media had been scrambling around to drum up some sort of excuse for their new favorite tire company.
Goodyear is having the dumbest year of their life. This is so unfair and un American. They are against Police officers and Trump Supporters. pic.twitter.com/ihsLGp1S9z

It appears that the media is determined to defend Goodyear now that President Donald Trump has stepped in via Twitter to suggest that people stop buying from the company.
Don’t buy GOODYEAR TIRES – They announced a BAN ON MAGA HATS. Get better tires for far less! (This is what the Radical Left Democrats do. Two can play the same game, and we have to start playing it now!).

Goodyear attempted to clarify their position by saying:
“Yesterday, Goodyear became the focus of a conversation that created some misconceptions about our policies and our company. For those not aware, a widely circulated image sparked a strong reaction, and we wanted to take the opportunity to provide some important context to the visual and our policies.”
Matt Walsh of the Daily Wire wrote that “the slide ‘was not created or distributed by Goodyear corporate’ and it’s ‘not part of a diversity training class,’” adding that it’s “a farcry from denying that it exists or that it accurately reflects their policy. The rest of the statement would only seem to confirm, in so many words, that employees are only permitted to voice certain approved views on certain approved issues.”
There was, however, audio released by WIBW that reportedly puts to rest any doubt that Goodyear favors left-leaning politics. Based on the audio, employees are apparently instructed that they may “express their views on social justice or inequity or equity issues such as black lives matter or LGBTQ pride on their face coverings, shirts, and wristbands.” Employees were instructed that such behavior is permissible, but that to wear anything that says “all, blue, or white lives matter” will be deemed inappropriate.
WIBW reported:
“Some people may wish to express their views on social justice or inequity or equity issues such as black lives matter or LGBTQ pride on their face coverings, shirts or wristbands. That will be deemed approved because it applies with a zero-tolerance stance,” the speaker said during the meeting. “However if any associate wears all, blue, white lives matter shirts or face coverings, that will be not appropriate.”
